The Experience of Overnight Camping in all Girls Environment

The spirit of Fleur de Lis Camp is in everything girls experience and in their surroundings. This section of our web pages are to help the first time camper visualize the camp surroundings, the programs they will be able to participate in and learn about the staff that will become their mentors while at camp. Returning girls will also enjoy these pages as they will trigger memories of years past and create anticipation of what this year will be.

Over 20 Activities, Horseback riding, Glass Blowing, Performing Arts, Swimming

Girls choose from nearly 20 different types of activities to create their own activity schedules.  There are four class periods a day: one period is designated for an instructional swim and the other three activities reflect their individual preferences. If someone likes watersport activities,then canoeing, kayaking, and waterskiing could be part of their adventure. If they like performing arts, they could be spending alot time at the Barn and on stage for short skits, improvisation, acting, singing, choreographing numbers, props, and backdrop development. Girls live in cabins or platform tents depending on their age. Juniors, 8-10 years of age, live in cabins with electricity and bathrooms. Mids, 11-13, live in a combination of cabins and platform tents and Seniors, ages 14-15, live in platform tents.
