Our Director
Lexy Heatley is the director of Fleur de Lis Camp. She has been a part of the Fleur de Lis community for over 25 years. In the 70’s she began her time at FdL as a camper, participated in the Counselor-in-Training program and then became a member of the field staff. Later, on the administrative staff she held many roles including Program Director, Counselor-in-Training Director, Staff Director, and Associate Director. She currently serves on the Fleur de Lis Corporation and was a member of the Capital Campaign Committee. Active in the American Camp Association, Lexy has been a volunteer visitor for five years participating in the camp accreditation process.
Lexy is a certified elementary teacher and special educator with a masters degree from Boston College in the study of Learning Disabilities. She has worked in the New Hampshire public schools and for the last 13 years and has worked at the Dexter and Southfield Schools in Brookline, MA. Her responsibilities there covered the spectrum from learning specialist, elementary teacher, Latin teacher, field hockey coach, bus driver, and most recently Assistant to the Head of the Middle School.
She has spent her career dedicated to creating quality learning experiences for children. Excited to return to FdL as its director, Lexy believes that Fleur de Lis offers it's girls an experience of incomparable summer adventures. In the winter, Lexy lives in Hancock, NH with her husband Neal and her 2 stepchildren Josh (age 10) and Rachel (age 6).
