A little bit more of FDL’s legacy

So, as part of my position here at Fleur de Lis, I happen to have Google Alerts for every possible combination of Fleur de Lis Camp, Camp Fleur de Lis, FDL that you can imagine. Most of the time, I end up with ads for Fleur de Lis shaped cookie cutters and waffle presses. But today, I received an article about the rifle program  at Lincoln Hill Camp, which included this piece of FDL history-

“Lincoln Hill had an annual competition with the girls from Camp Fleur de Lis in Fitzwilliam, N.H. These young ladies were bused the three-hour drive to Foxboro. They came with top-of-the-line target rifles. Moreover, they were better than our shooters — they whipped us.”

It was a wonderful piece of Fleur de Lis’ legacy to find and not a bad way to be remembered. You can read the full article at the link below-
