Camp and Kimball’s
On my first night at Fleur de Lis, I received what I like to think was a crash course in all things FDL from our own dear Lady Tierney. It was actually something of an exercise in free association because Lady Tierney, having just arrived back at 120 Howeville Road, was bursting with all the things that she had missed over the nine months she spent away from her beloved second home. There were discussions of Galilean, the Cheshire Fair and, after a brief inquiry about my feelings on the subject, Kimball’s Farm ice cream.
It is a bit of a drive to get to our nearest purveyor in Jaffrey but there is no denying that Kimball’s and their wonderful frozen treats are a part of the Fleur de Lis experience. So while we may still be several weeks away from the beginning of camp, we can enjoy part of the experience in the form of a trip to Kimball’s and the company of camp people. Come out and join us this Saturday from 11 to 2 at the Westford location and a kiddie ice cream will be on us!
