Getting to know the 2013 staff- Ladies Katherine Crowley and Stephanie Pollard*
A few weeks ago, I rewarded Lady Grace’s late entry by sharing her staff profile but it occurred to me that this was a bit unfair to her Unit Head compatriots who turned in their profile over the summer. So in an effort to right this oversight and because they are incredible people, here are Ladies Steph and K. Crow’s favorite stories from camp-
Lady Stephanie- I remember one afternoon, Lady Julia and I spent on surfboards soaking up the sun!
Lady Katherine- As a staff member in the junior field in ’09 or ’10, we put on The Lorax as Junior Production. All of the campers (who happen to be seniors in the senior field now- an awesome group!) got so excited and enthusiastic about the play that we had the whole show blocked and memorized in no time. So we added a song- Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World”- to the end of the play. As Nature Head and a semi-active conservationist, the sound of the junior field singing about the world around then in unison struck such a wonderful chord for me. The performance was one of the best I have seen!

*this will be another ongoing thread because, well, we had an awesome staff this year and I would love to let you all know them better.
