Something strange is going on but for now . . .
There is definitely something amiss today. My first indication was the appearance of a pinwheel sticking out of my own bun but as I have not yet figured it all out, I wanted to share an amazing article that was passed along to me. We here at Fleur de Lis are lucky because we are privy to the importance of camp every day; we get to watch your daughters develop new friends, interests, problem solving skills and a more complete understanding of themselves. But for those of you not as lucky as we are, here is a great prospective on what a summer at camp can mean- http://www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/2013/06/a-summer-camp-lesson-good-bye-and-go-away-thank-you-very-much/277145/
In the meantime, I am going to investigate the origins of this pinwheel and why the flags look a bit different today.
