2021 at FDL Circle Week

Circle Week 2021 looked a little different this summer. Unfortunately we were unable to offer our typical Circle Week program again due to COVID-19. Though we were able to give our girls two ways to enjoy camp: free two weeks during the traditional seven week program and an Open House with families.

This summer 11 Circle Week campers took us up on our offer to attend two weeks of the traditional program. They had the time of their lives. They participated in the camp 4th of July parade, hiked Little Mount Monadnock or Gap Mountain, swam in the lake and sang camp songs. It felt so good for everyone to be back. I was lucky enough to spend those two weeks with the girls and loved every minute of it. It warmed my heart to see our campers not only enjoying camp and welcoming back old friends but making new friends. They did such a great job navigating through the longer camp experience and Covid protocols.

On Saturday, August 21st we hosted a Circle Week Open House for campers and their families. Despite the cloudy sky we were able to swim, walk around camp, make friendship bracelets and candles along with a picnic lunch.

As always we are appreciative of all our supporters, especially those that have made financial contributions. Without your donations it would not have been possible for our 11 campers to enjoy their time at camp. Thank you to the entire Fleur de Lis community for helping to keep our program alive! We look forward to welcoming everyone back to camp in the summer of 2022.
