FDL Fall Bucket List

I LOVE FALL! Don’t get me wrong, as a camp director, Summer is certainly my favorite season. Being able to spend the warmer months by a lake, hanging out with all my favorite people, there is nothing better. That said… once the days start getting shorter and the evenings cooler, I cannot wait to start checking off my fall bucket list! Everything from classic New England hikes, to fall crafts, to drinking pumpkin spice lattes while wearing flannel.

Follow along as I share with you some of my all-time favorite fall bucket list items:

Taking as many hikes as I possible with my dog Finley! Some of my favorites just happen to be right near camp:

Cheshire Rail Trail – great for a family bike ride!

Going apple picking with my family, while drinking hot apple cider, and then baking an apple pie together.

Go to a pumpkin patch to pick my own pumpkin than carve it into a jack-o lantern.

Get lost in a corn/hay maze!

Take a trip to Kimball’s Farm to eat their pumpkin ice cream… it sounds weird, but trust me it is delicious!

Raking leaves into a giant pile and jumping into them (watching out for sticks of course).

Telling ghost stories by a campfire & making s’mores of course.

Taking fun photos of the foliage.

Wearing comfy flannel and drinking pumpkin spice lattes.

And of course, walking around camp and seeing the leaves change (be sure to check out our visitor policy before making your visit).

We want to know what’s on your fall bucket list this year! Check out our Facebook & Instagram stories for more inspiration and to share your bucket list with us!

Happy Fall!
